Their spacious courtyard setting affords each of them a sense of privacy and they all boast access to 150 acres of grounds where visitors can ramble in lovely woodland abundant with bird and wildlife or enjoy a spot of free trout and salmon fishing on the Ruel the fishing hut provides an ideal picnic spot.

One of the most admired views in Scotland The Kyles of Bute awaits discovery just 6 miles away and the tranquil village of Tighnabruaich's lovely natural bays sandy beach shops restaurants and 9 hole golf course. Dunoon (20 miles) is a popular seaside town and has an 18 hole golf course and Inverary (30 miles) in its glorious setting on the shores of Loch Fyne promises a rewarding trip. Inverary Jail now a museum and Inverary Castle are both well worth exploring. An hour's drive away Oban is not only the departure point for boat trips to 'the Isles' but also home to a sealife centre and rare breeds park. Colintraive (9 miles) offers a pub serving good food and there is a summer shop (limited opening hours) adjacent to Home Farm.

Sitting in the hamlet of Inverlussa just 1 mile south of Achnamara this spacious and very comfortable property's contemporary design makes the most of views over the hills and Loch Sween to the Isle of Jura. The loch is ideal for sailing and fishing and the pretty harbour village of Crinan (5 miles) is a lovely spot for watching boating activity. The canal towpath affords pleasant walking and cycling and there are many waymarked woodland walks in the area. Island day trips to Gigha Arran and Jura and ferries to Mull from Oban are easily accessible and Lochgilphead (8 miles) has a selection of shops and pubs.
